I used to play in the laundry with my barbie dolls. I'd tie them to the tap and twist and twist the rope then swing them from one side of the basin to the other, watching them as they twirled. I would pretend they were trapeze artists and that I was the circus conductor (or whatever it's called). lol.

Ditto above. You're quality, it's just a matter of time to match you to the right employer. I found it depressing to not get jobs, but I don't regret that I didn't get those jobs and did get this one. They were the wrong jobs for me.

I quite enjoy the copy in the Groupon emails. Someone there has an imagination.

Maaaan, recruiters are too stupid to write ads! They use catch phrases like that because it's a general ad to attract candidates, and it also usually means that they don't know enough about the job. Don't despair, you are so. Much. Smarter. Than the people writing those ads! Just present yourself as best as you can on paper to get the interview, be your usual hot self AT the interview and you'll nail it. It is only a matter of time, you are more than capable. xx

The story of Queen Esther reminds me that God is always there, working in the background and centre stage too - even when his voice is not always audibly heard.

Definitely not true - MTC students with advanced academic skills!?... just look at some of the graduates you know. Theological study is one of those freaky things where faith and trust in Jesus seem to count for something too! It is a rare privilege to study as you are - make the most of it. The others of whom you are somewhat in awe probably have wives at home doing all the work for them...

The struggle is to apply all that you are learning - as Paul seeks to apply all his amazing theology in his letters. Preaching Colossians 3 this Sunday - WOW!
